The good thing about delving back into the Yo La Tengo archives is that you get to remember songs like "Sugarcube", a song which, in a fairer and better world, would have been a huge summer breakout hit. Except it never would have been, because, y'know, it's Yo La Tengo, and they're never gonna have a huge summer breakout hit in a million years. Although that doesn't explain why not. It just isn't.
